Monastery tour Megen (4,8 km)

It is also possible to take a monastery tour in Megen. Apart from a beautiful piece of nature, this 4.8-kilometre circular tour also offers a glimpse of Megen’s Clarissen and Franciscan monastery. Many Franciscan brothers and sisters live in this village. As a result, Megen is also known as Assisi on the Meuse (Italian place of pilgrimage). Besides the monasteries, chapels and churches, this route also runs largely through nature along the Meuse and the surrounding fields.
